Lawn Aeration

Liquid Lawn Aeration

Why do we recommend lawn aerations? Using a liquid lawn aeration service will enhance the oxygen, water, and nutrients that reach the root zone of your lawn. Aerating the soil is especially beneficial for lawns growing in clay or compacted soils, where proper aeration is often lacking.

At Bio Green, our products are specifically designed to increase oxygen levels in the root zone through key nutrients and weak acids. This principle also helps release some of the soil’s humus into humic acids, further enriching the soil. Our liquid lawn aeration service utilizes a microscopic alkali extractive technique that removes salts and creates oxygen-centric bonds. These microscopic interactions lead to billions of fractures in the soil, encouraging deeper rooting. As the roots grow, they become natural macroscopic aerators, establishing better pathways for air and water.

We frequently hear from homeowners that their topsoil was stripped away during construction, leaving them with denser clay or subsoil that hinders lawn health. This is where our liquid lawn aeration service can make a significant difference. By improving soil conditions, our aeration services help restore the health of your lawn and promote vigorous growth.

Benefits of liquid aeration:

  • Creates billions of fractures and encourage greater rooting.
  • Covers the entire lawn unlike core aeration which pokes holes every 3-6 inches.
  • It can be done anytime during the growing season different than the mechanical core aeration which is only recommended during the spring or fall.
  • No holes are made, and no grass is removed.
  • No need to mark sprinkler heads, invisible fences or cable lines.

Enhanced Lawn Health with Liquid Lawn Aeration Service

Another significant benefit of our liquid lawn aeration service is its ability to promote enhanced microbial activity in the soil. By improving soil structure and oxygenation, this service encourages beneficial microbes to thrive, which in turn aids in nutrient breakdown and availability. These microbes play a crucial role in creating a vibrant ecosystem in your lawn, ensuring that the grass receives the essential nutrients it needs to flourish. With our liquid lawn aeration service, you are not just improving root growth; you are fostering a healthier soil environment that supports your entire lawn’s ecosystem.

Moreover, our liquid lawn aeration service is incredibly versatile and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your lawn. Whether your grass is fescue, bluegrass, or another variety, this service adapts to different soil types and conditions, ensuring optimal results. Unlike traditional mechanical aeration methods, which can be disruptive and limited to certain seasons, our liquid lawn aeration service can be applied any time during the growing season. This flexibility allows homeowners to schedule aeration at their convenience, making it easier to maintain a healthy lawn year-round.

The convenience of our liquid lawn aeration service also extends to the cleanup process. Since no physical holes are created, and no grass is removed, there’s no mess to deal with afterward. This is particularly beneficial for busy homeowners who want to enhance their lawn without the hassle of traditional aeration methods. You won’t need to worry about marking sprinkler heads, invisible fences, or cable lines, making our liquid lawn aeration service a hassle-free solution for lawn care.

Finally, regular use of our liquid lawn aeration service can lead to long-term benefits for your lawn. By continually improving soil health and root development, your lawn will become more resilient against environmental stressors, such as drought or heavy rainfall. Over time, you’ll notice a marked improvement in the overall appearance and vitality of your grass, leading to a lush, green lawn that enhances the beauty of your property. Trust Bio Green’s liquid lawn aeration service to help you achieve a thriving lawn that stands out in your neighborhood.

Need more technical information?

What is the difference between the mechanical and Bio Green Ohio’s liquid aeration product? We are attaching the write up from the manufacturer but providing a less technical summary for understanding below from their staff agronomist.

***

A study conducted was conducted by the University of Georgia to evaluate the effects of our liquid aeration material.  They compared the liquid aeration material vs. mechanical aeration and a combination of both

If you look at the Study A) Rooting Stats you can see that the aeration product we use has a greater root mass than the mechanical aeration.

You can also see that in the Study B) Mechanical Aeration with and without the addition of the liquid aeration material doing both mechanical and liquid aeration will allow the ground to absorb the water more.

Here is a good summary to augment the report.

  • Nothing matters (mechanical or liquid aeration) if the calcium levels are low, and magnesium is high.   We typically do not have that problem here in Ohio.  Soil test should be done to verify soil nutrient levels.
  • Mechanical aeration will give an immediate gas exchange and allow oxygen in the aerated areas.   Mechanical aeration will in 4 months go back to its compacted consistency.
  • Liquid aeration will give a long-term fix because it puts carbon, organic matter, and bio stimulants for better root development.
  • To reduce calcium levels, fertilizer would have to be applied to the soil on a consistent basis.  Our fertilizers and liquid aeration help with this.
  • Another way to reduce the calcium levels is to put a manure-based soil/fertilizer down
  • Where does the calcium come from in Ohio?   In talking with our soil testing supplier that in our area millions of years ago, the glaciers were here and left calcium deposits driving some areas with high levels of calcium in our soil.

In the study they applied 1.5” of water per week.  That is essential if you want a healthy strand of grass.

Bio Green Ohio Service Reviews

Norman Lanier

David is awesome! Totally reliable and committed to doing an outstanding job for his clients! His products are super effective and eco-friendly. I have used 3 or 4 lawn services over the last 14 years, and after 3 applications by David, my lawn now looks better than it ever has!

I am starting my fourth or fifth season with Bio Green Ohio and have been pleased since day one as I continue to be today. Prior to this, I had used the two well know companies here in Columbus. I was dissatisfied with them both for lack of attention and nonexistent responses when I called or sent a letter. I felt that I was only a number to them and they demonstrated zero interest in working with me other than to have their telemarketers call on a regular basis to up sell another service. So, when I decided to hire another company, I did a lot of research and Bio Green had very strong reviews and is why I chose to go with them. From the start, it was obvious they cared and were interested in what my needs and concerns are. It also is very refreshing that when the Technician is out, he will talk with you if you have any questions rather than the other folks who seem to run a marathon to get in and out as quickly as possible. My lawn has some challenges that Bio Green inherited and has been working hard to remedy. The great thing is that whenever I reach out, the response is immediate and Dave has made several trips to examine and study the issues at hand to determine the best course of action. I cannot overstate how happy I am and would highly recommend Bio Green Ohio to anyone who is looking to replace their current company or new to hiring a Lawn Care Service.

I contacted Bio Green 2 years ago after losing 20% of my lawn to fungus. Dave came out and assessed my lawn and offered his advice. After 2 years and with Bio Green my lawn looks better than it ever has. The other HUGE benefit (that I didn't realize at the time) their process doesn't use harmful chemicals that can hurt your children and pets. I won't trust my lawn to anyone else.

We had lots of dandelions and other weeds that decided to pop up as everything came in to bloom. Lori went out to the house to give an estimate same day I requested, and scheduled service shortly thereafter. Lawn looks great, and I'm happy that I am not using toxic chemicals for treatment. Thanks!!

Dave and Lori are truly the best! I wasn't seeing results doing my own fertilizing, not to mention all of the weeds and I started to explore alternative options. When I found out that the stuff they use is all natural and safe for my furry buddy I was sold. They were out at my house within days of my request and overnight it seemed that all of the weeds had vanished. My favorite was the personalized note that Dave left on my invoice with some pointers. Very satisfied and strongly recommend!!

So far Bio Green has lived up to it's billing. We're not sure our yard has ever looked as good as it does right now. With two dogs it was important to us to find a company who used natural fertilization. We are very happy with our decision to use Bio Green.

Customer service is top-notch! They are quick to respond and take action. They use products I feel good about using and are very knowledgeable. They use the same care with my referrals.

Biogreen has done a great job on our lawn! We have been thrilled with the service they provide, and it's nice to know that their product is safe for kids and pets.
